See <br /> manufacturer's specifications for anti-buoyancy. <br /> ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS ARE REQUIRED FOR INSTALLATION OF <br /> THIS SEPTIC SYSTEM. Detailed instructions for dosing tank/effluent pump <br /> installations are available in our office. The electrical wiring to the pump and <br /> alarm must be installed in accordance with the appropriate Electrical Code. <br /> The electrical work must be done under a Marion County Electrical <br /> Permit and must be inspected and approved by a Marion County <br /> Electrical Inspector. The work must be left uncovered and accessible for <br /> inspection. The electrical inspection includes the connections to the pump and <br /> alarm in the dosing tank, the wiring in the trench and the connections in the <br /> structure. The effluent pipe must have 18-gauge minimum green tracer wire or <br /> green metallic tape placed along the line. <br /> TANK RISER: The tank must be installed with watertight risers extending to <br /> the ground surface or above. The riser lid must be gasketed and securely <br /> fastened. <br /> GRAVELLESS ABSORPTION TRENCHES ARE REQUIRED as part of this <br /> installation. Hole spacing in the pressure distribution piping will be 24 inches <br /> on center or less. A minimum 2-foot squirt height is required at the remotest <br /> orifice. Green tracer wire is required above the piping and each line must end <br /> with a long sweep elbow and flushing orifice with removable cap at or above <br /> finished grade. Each pressure lateral must have at least one inspection <br /> port with minimum diameter of 4 inches. Chamber must be supported by <br /> at least 4 inches of drain media (drainrock). A barrier to prevent burrowing <br /> animals from entering the absorption chambers is required. <br /> THE ATTACHED SEPTIC TANK ABANDONMENT FORM MUST BE <br /> COMPLETED AND RETURNED TO OUR OFFICE.
