Onsite Permit 555-18-007108-PRMT Page 6 of 7
Schedule Inspections online at www.buildingpermits.oregon.gov or by calling: 1-888-299-2821 or 503-588-5147
When calling for an inspection, use IVR Number:555022316821
Date issued 9/28/18 -Expiration date 9/28/19
Work description: MAJ:REP FOR 5 BDRM'RES
Conditions of approval
DRY SOIL CONDITIONS ARE REQUIRED FOR INSTALLATION(March 1 —
October 31) The geographical area in which the property lies is considered a
risk to installation during winter months. Soil moisture conditions generally
preclude construction of the drainfield in the winter months.
MAINTAIN PERMANENT ACCESS to septic tank for pumping and service.
The septic tank should be pumped and inspected by a licensed septic tank
pumping service before sludge and scum accumulations reach 30% of the tank
liquid operating volume. Pumping every 3 to 5 years is an average interval.
The septic tank is a reservoir for the solid materials in the sewage waste
stream. Excessive accumulation of these solid materials in the septic tank will
cause the solids to wash out of the tank and into the drainfield. This will cause
irreversible damage to the drainfield and will eventually lead to a system
failure.
THE APPROVED SEPTIC SYSTEM AREA MUST BE PROTECTEDfrom any
vehicular traffic, livestock and farming activities. Other activities such as
excavating or filling, driveway placement, paving or other similar activities that
alter the natural soil conditions will adversely affect the soil and the septic
system function and lead to premature system failure. The area must not be
subjected to excessive saturation due to artificial drainage of ground surfaces,
driveways, building downspouts or other sources. The areas of the initial septic
system and the future repair system must both be protected.
3/7/19:4:09:20PM Page 6 of 7 ONS_OnsitePermitpr
