This is an important component of
the perspective of transit's funding partner, the Federal Transit Administratic
space also serves as a safeguard against unexpectedly large growth in transit
future. If need be, a portion of the retail space could be used to expand the c
and service functions of the District's operation.
The District will also own and lease approximately 2,400 sq.ft. .of office spaa
fl~or of the building, adjacent to the transit administrative offices.
