Dave had one last item to bring up regarding security grills, gates, and casts. Do I keep <br />pursuing this option and try to make it work? Security is an important is~ue and creates a <br />~ new problem if we can't build P2 . If we stay on one level, then more hardware us required. This <br />issue is delayed until a decision is made whether we will be going to P 1 or P2 de~ign. <br />We need to look at controlling mobility to building after hours. County is ~urrently using a <br />electronic key system in the courthouse: We need to get the scope and add a lin~ item for this in <br />the budget. Bob McCune, Facilities Management, is the person to contact ~t county to get <br />additional information on the electronic key system. He would also be the con#act for data and <br />tele-communications information. County has their own telephone system. Tran~it is planning on <br />connecting with county's telephone system. The recommendation was made ~Ithat Courthouse <br />Square and the courthouse not be integrated. It could develop unwanted problem~. The costs for <br />all phone/computer wiring should fall within the $30/sf for TI's.
