SALEM COURTHOUSE SQUARE INC. <br />DEMOLITION <br />1997 <br />PROPOSAL SUBMITTAL: <br />SECTION 00100 <br />INVTTATION/PROPOSAL <br />PAGE 2 OF 2 <br />Sealed proposals are to be prepazed according to the following Section 0200, "Instructions to Contractors," and <br />should be addressed and submitted to: <br />Marion County Clerk's Office <br />First Floor <br />100 High St. NE <br />Salem, Oregon 97301 <br />Marion County will receive sealed proposals unti15:00 PM, Monday, March 31, 1997, at the above address. <br />Proposals received after the deadline will not be considered. Proposals may not be withdrawn after the time set <br />for receipt. <br />MANDATORY PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS: <br />1. In order to be eligible for contract award, proposer must submit the prequalification application and <br />attend a Mandatory Pre-award walk-through to be held at the Senator Building, 220 High St. NE, <br />Basement Conf. Rm., Mazch 17, 1997, at 9:00 AM. <br />2. All proposals shall be of a single fixed price. <br />3. All proposals shall be submitted on the form provided as part of the Proposal Documents, and shall be <br />prepared in accordance with Section 0200 of those documents, "Instructions to Contractors." <br />4. The successful proposal will be required to provide a 100% Performance & Payment Bond prior to <br />award of a contract. <br />5. Each proposal shall include evidence of the contractors ability to provide insurance of the "occurrence" <br />type in an amount of $5,000,000.00. <br />6. The County reserves the right to waive minor informalities, to reject any proposal not in compliance <br />with all prescribed public contracting procedures and requirements and may reject for good cause any or <br />all proposals if it is in the public interest to do so. <br />END OF SECTION <br />
