23. How will proposers determine the extent of leveling compound in the flooring at the <br />Community Development Building? <br />Cannot be determined at this time. It may either be under the entire flooring or only in certain, <br />limited, areas. <br />24. Where is the location of drywall and taping compound in the drawings of the Community <br />Development Building? <br />See the attached amended map. <br />25. Is 400 square feet the correct quantity for 9x9 VAT for the first and second floors of the <br />Goldberg property? <br />Yes, this is the correct square footage. <br />26 . The following revisions replace language in the speci~cations. <br />SECTION 01010 <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />1.4 DEMOLITION <br />Item C will read: <br />c. It is the goal of the Owner to salvage, recycle, re-utilize or use resource recovery, to the ma~cimum <br />extent practical, materials generated during demolition. the Contractor shall coordinate with the Owner or <br />Owner's Representative, during the demolition of this site, to assure that the materials generated, <br />separated, stored and taken to mazkets, as part of the demolition, meet this goal. <br />Debris, including masonry, concrete, metals and similar materials shall become the property of Contractor <br />and shall be disposed of off the site by the Contractor. <br />Submit a recycling and resource recovery plan outlining materials to be recovered to meet <br />the Owner's goal. <br />2. All demolition shall be done to protect the existing timber beams so that they may be <br />salvaged or reused. Value of timbers shall be indicated as per instructions on the proposal <br />sheet. <br />1.8 PROGRESS CLEANING <br />Item B, number I will read: <br />1. Collected Waste: Waste shall not be held on site longer than 5 days.
