SMITH <br />SITE NU~EER= 92-2999 <br />ORIGIN;~L SYSTE~ <br /> <br /> Your site has been found suitable for a STAND~D ON-SITE SEWAGE DISPOSAL <br />SYSTF. M. The following ~onstruction specifications shall apply to the instaXla- <br />tion of your Beptic <br /> <br /> 1. The septic tank shall have a minimum liquid capacity of <br /> gallons. <br /> <br /> 2. The projected daily sewage flow for this project is calculated at <br /> 450 qa~on~ ~er day. Based on soil conditions obse~ed on this <br /> ei~e, =he disposal field will be sized at .150 lineal f..~9~.....2ppr <br /> ~llon~ Of projected daily sewage flow. A minimum of <br /> ~eet of disposal field will be required for your propose~d~velop- <br /> ment. The disposal trenches are constructed two (2) feet wide and <br /> on minimum ten (10) foot centers and with no line exceeding <br /> feet in length. The trenches and perforated pipe are installed <br /> level (±1") and contoured to follow the natural ground surface. <br /> <br /> 3. The disposal field shall be constructed with serial distribution <br /> with a minimum trench depth of.~4 inches and a maximum trench <br /> depth of'~. There must be a~ leas~ 12~che~ of backfill <br /> over th~ to~ of the gravel~ ~eae~red from the ~atural ground <br /> <br /> A groundwater interceptor is required as part of this system. This <br />interceptor trench must be constructed a minimum twelve (12) inches wide by 36 <br />inches deep with 30 inches of clean gravel placed over a four (4) inch smooth <br />wall perforated pipe. The interceptor must be located at least ten (10) feet <br />upslope from the disposal field and must discharge through a watertight, non- <br />perforated pipe beside or below the disposal field. A separation of 25 feet is <br />required from the septic tank if the tank is located upslope of the groundwa- <br />ter interceptor. <br /> <br /> This approval is site specific =o ~he area tested and the septic system <br />must be located in the immediate area of the test pits unless otherwise autho- <br />rized by this office. A new site evaluation may be required if the system is <br />proposed for a different area on the property. <br /> <br />SPECIAL CONDITIONS: <br /> This standard system must be constructed within the immediate area and <br /> up slope of the uppe~ (northerly) soil test pit. Soil conditions are <br /> marginal, so summer season construction is re¢o~end~d. There is a <br /> moderate rock hazard associated with drainfield construction. Rock <br /> larger than six inches must be removed from backfill material.
