Ail geothermal drilling operations shall comply with state <br /> ambient air standards, water quality standards, noise <br /> control standards, water rules and regulations, and USFS <br /> fire precaution schedules for shutdown during high fire <br /> danger periods. <br /> <br />9. No geothermal drilling shall be done during the winter <br /> months [December 1 to April 15]. <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />Ail geothermal drilling shall be limited to the existing <br />three wells and/or one new well within a 4 acre area <br />around each existing well, as shown on Exhibit 9. The <br />maximum number of wells'is six. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />All geothermal drilling shall be limited to testing and <br />production testing to determine productive locations, <br />reservoir limits, flow rates, chemical composition and <br />temperature of fluids and gases, pressures, and other <br />physical properties of fluids and gases. This conditional <br />use permit does not allow field development, power plant <br />construction, or production as those activities are <br />described :by Exhibit 62, pp. 8-9. This condition does <br />not prevent the direct application of geothermal water to <br />on-premises use such as the swimming pool. <br /> <br />C. Campg~gund Conditions. <br /> <br />12. <br /> <br />Except for permanent staff housing permitted herein, over- <br />night camping, or lodging shall be prohibited during the <br />winter months [December 1 to April 15]. <br /> <br />13. <br /> <br />The following permanent recreational structures are per- <br />mitted:. Water slides built at ground level and not <br />elevated, a swimming pool, a support building for selling <br />snacks and recreational supplies, office use, and showers, <br />locker rooms, restrooms, etc., a horse stable, septic and <br />water systems, necessary utility facilities for power, <br />heat, etc., parking areas, and campsites for no more than <br />50 tents and RV pads for no more than 23 RV units. <br /> <br />14. <br /> <br />The rental, lease or sale of motorized equipment or <br />vehicles shall not be permitted in association with this <br />recreational facility and campground. <br /> <br />15. <br /> <br />The culinary water supply system may be from a well or <br />from Mansfield Creek, subject to the approval and neces- <br />sary permits of the appropriate Sta~e and County health, <br />water resources, and environmental agencies. <br /> <br />ORDER - Page 14 <br />CU 84-55 <br />Heidgerken <br /> <br /> <br />
