The applicant shall acquire all County, State and Federal <br />permits necessary for sewage disposal, geothermal explora- <br />tion, access to Forest Service roads, campground and <br />recreational facilities operation, including.the snack <br />bar, horse staples, and swimming pool and water slide, <br />and the culinary water supply. <br /> <br />A fire hazard-and emergency services management plan shall <br />be reviewed and approved by the Chief Planner. The plan <br />shall specify the on-site fire fighting and emergency <br />services facilities, equipment and staff, the means to <br />communicate with and the availability of assistance from <br />public bodies, restrictions on smoking by well drilling <br />crews, such as designated smoking areas, restrictions on <br />smoking for .the general public, such as des'ignated no- <br />smoking areas, use of the USFS fire precaution schedule <br />for shutdown Of drilling operations and/or the campground <br />during high fire danger periods, and such other criteria <br />aS may be appropriate. The plan shall conform to the <br />Fire hazard management Plan as outlined in Chapter 3 of <br />the Fire Safety Considerations for Development in Forested <br />Areas, 1978 (See Planning Division for copy). Before <br />approval of the plan, the Chief Planner'shall solicit the <br />comments and recommendations of the USFS, the State <br />Forestry Department, any local rural fire protection <br />district with jurisdiction, and the Marion County Sheriff. <br /> <br />No dwellings, including a lodge or cabins, are permitted <br />under this conditional use permit, except for seasonal <br />staff housing necessary to provide for the operational <br />needs of the campground, including fire and' other emergenc <br />services. Permanent housing shall be limited to full-time <br />employees and their immediate family. Housing units <br />shall be limited to two in number, shall not be located <br />in any buffer zone, shall meet all setback requirements <br />of the Marion County Zoning Ordinance, and shall be <br />rustic in nature and be finished or painted in natural or <br />earth tone colors. <br /> <br />Any new structures or uses not specifically approved under <br />this request shall be required to have a conditional use <br />permit from the County. <br /> <br />The conditional uses permitted by this order shall be <br />effective only when the exercise of the rights granted <br />hereunder have commenced within one year of the effective <br />date of this order. <br /> <br />Violation of 9ny of the terms and conditions'set forth <br />herein render the conditional uses granted herein voidable <br /> <br />ORDER Page <br />CU 84-55 <br />Heidgerken <br /> <br /> <br />
