SEEPAGE TRENCH SYSTEM CONSTRUCTION DETAIL SHEET July 29, 1993 APPLICANT= SITE NUMBERs City of Aurora 93-01885 ORIGINAL SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS Your site has been found suitable for a SEEPAGE TRENCH ALTERNATIVE SEWAGE DISPOSAL SYSTEM. The following construction specifications shall apply to the installation of your septic system. 1. The septic tank shall have a minimum liquid capacity of 1500 gallons. The projected daily sewage flow for this project is calculated at 500 qa~lons per day. Based on soil conditions observed on thin nite, the disposal field will be sized at 75 lineal feet per ~ of projected daily sewage flow. A minimum of 250 lineal feet of dinposal field will be required for your proposed develop- ment. The dinponal trenches are constructed two (2) feet wide and on minimum ten (10) foot centers and with no line exceeding 125 feet in length. The trenchen and perforated pipe are installed level (±1") and contoured to follow the natural ground nurface. The disposal field shall be constructed with SERIAL distribution with a minimum trench depth of 36 iDches and a maximum trench depth of 42 i.nches. The depth of filter below the distribution pipe shall be 18 inches. There must be at least 12 inches of backfill over the top of the gravel, measured from the natural ground surface. This approval is site specific to the area tested and the septic system must be located in the immediate area of the test pits unless otherwise autho- rized by this office. A new site evaluation may be required if the system is proposed for a different area on the property. SPECIAL CONDITIONS: The initial system and the replacement system must be staked out prior to installation to verify the location of the lines. No digging should take place until the lines are staked. THIS IS NOT A PEI~MIT TO iNSTALL THE SEPTIC SYSTEM. DO NOT INSTALL THE ~yST~lT UNTIL A VALID ~ERMIT NAS mm~ ISSUED BY THIS OFFICE.
