SEEPAGE TRENCH SYSTEM CONSTRUCTION DETAIL SHEET <br /> <br />July 29, 1993 <br /> <br />APPLICANT= <br />SITE NUMBERs <br /> <br />City of Aurora <br />93-01885 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS <br /> <br /> Your site has been found suitable for a SEEPAGE TRENCH ALTERNATIVE <br />SEWAGE DISPOSAL SYSTEM. The following construction specifications shall apply <br />to the installation of your septic system. <br /> <br />1. The septic tank shall have a minimum liquid capacity of 1500 <br /> gallons. <br /> <br />The projected daily sewage flow for this project is calculated at <br />500 qa~lons per day. Based on soil conditions observed on thin <br />nite, the disposal field will be sized at 75 lineal feet per <br />~ of projected daily sewage flow. A minimum of 250 lineal <br />feet of dinposal field will be required for your proposed develop- <br />ment. The dinponal trenches are constructed two (2) feet wide and <br />on minimum ten (10) foot centers and with no line exceeding 125 <br />feet in length. The trenchen and perforated pipe are installed <br />level (±1") and contoured to follow the natural ground nurface. <br /> <br />The disposal field shall be constructed with SERIAL distribution <br />with a minimum trench depth of 36 iDches and a maximum trench <br />depth of 42 i.nches. The depth of filter below the distribution <br />pipe shall be 18 inches. There must be at least 12 inches of <br />backfill over the top of the gravel, measured from the natural <br />ground surface. <br /> <br /> This approval is site specific to the area tested and the septic system <br />must be located in the immediate area of the test pits unless otherwise autho- <br />rized by this office. A new site evaluation may be required if the system is <br />proposed for a different area on the property. <br /> <br />SPECIAL CONDITIONS: <br /> The initial system and the replacement system must be staked out prior <br /> to installation to verify the location of the lines. No digging should <br /> take place until the lines are staked. <br /> <br />THIS IS NOT A PEI~MIT TO iNSTALL THE SEPTIC SYSTEM.
