FILTER SYSTEM CONSTNUCTION DHTAIL SHEET <br /> <br />July 29, 1993 <br /> <br />APPLICANT= <br />SITE NUMBER: <br /> <br />City of Aurora <br />93-01885 <br /> <br />FUTURE REPLACEMENT SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS <br /> <br /> Your site has been found suitable for a SAND FILTER ALTERNATIVE SEWAGE <br />DISPOSAL SYSTEM. The following construction specifications shall apply to the <br />installation of your septic system. <br /> <br />1. The septic tank shall have a minimum liquid capacity of 1500 <br /> gallons. <br /> <br />The projected daily sewage flow for this project is calculated at <br />~p0 qallons Der day. Eased on soil conditions observed on this <br />site, the disposal field will be sized at 75 lineal feet Der 150 <br />qallons of projected daily sewage flow. A minimum of 75 lineal <br />feet of disposal field will be required for your proposed develop- <br />ment. The disposal trenches are constructed two (2) feet wide and <br />on minimum ten (10) foot centers and with no line exceeding 125 <br />feet in length. The trenches and perforated pipe are installed <br />level (~1") and contoured to follow the natural ground surface. <br /> <br />The disposal field shall be constructed with ~.RIAL distribution <br />with a minimum trench depth of 36 inq~es and a maximum trench <br />depth of 42 inches. Seepage ~renches shall be utilized with 24 <br />inches of gravel in the trench. There must be at least 12 inches <br />of backfill over the top of the gravel, measured from the natural <br />ground surface. <br /> <br />The sand filter system shall be designed and operated as per OAR <br />340-71-290 through 340-71-305. Detailed plans for the system must <br />be submitted prior to permit issuance. A building permit is <br />required if a site built concrete box is used as the sand filter <br />container. A pamphlet is available in our office which details the <br />requirements for a sand filter system. <br /> <br /> This approval is site specific to the area tested and the septic system <br />must be located in the immediate area of the test pits unless otherwise autho- <br />rized by this office.
