Performs related work as <br />required. <br />SUPERVISION RECEIVED <br />Works under the general supervision of the Trial Team Supervisor who outlines assignments, establishes <br />goals and reviews the results obtained for overall effectiveness through the analysis of reports and <br />meetings. <br />SUPERVISION EXERCISED <br />Supervision of other employees is not a responsibility of positions in this classification; however, <br />exercises lead direction over staff classified as Legal Secretary 2 and law clerks. Leadwork includes the <br />reviewing of work, organizing, planning and scheduling work assignments, participating in interviews and <br />making recommendations for selection of new personnel, providing training, and providing input on <br />employee performance evaluations. <br />DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS <br />This level in the Support Enforcement Agent series performs a variety of support enforcement activities <br />and manages the Support Enforcement Division's information system. The Support Enforcement Agent 2 <br />is distinguished from the Support Enforcement Agent 1 by the responsibility of managing the information <br />system. <br />EXAMPLES OF DUTIES - DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED <br />TO THE FOLLOWING: <br />1.Obtains and reviews case information to establish or modify child support orders and makes <br />preliminary determinations; interviews custodial and noncustodial parents; identifies obligor's <br />wages and assets; initiates action to obtain income and tax records; testifies at administrative and <br />court hearings to establish and modify child support orders; drafts routine and customized <br />documents such as petitions, motions, affidavits and correspondence.
