Performs other duties as required. <br />SUPERVISION RECEIVED <br />Works under supervision of higher-level officer who assigns work detail and reviews work for <br />conformance to established procedures, policies, rules, and regulations. <br />SUPERVISION EXERCISED <br />Supervises adults in custody. Supervision of other employees is not a responsibility of positions in this <br />class. Incumbents in this class may also work as a Deputy Sheriff in either the central office or restitution <br />center. <br />EXAMPLES OF DUTIES - DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED <br />TO THE FOLLOWING: <br />JAIL FACILITY <br />1.Maintains order, discipline, and security of adults in custody. <br />2.Processes adults in custody admitted and discharged for transfer from facilities including booking <br />and release, finger printing, photographing, and issuing supplies and clothing to new adults in <br />custody. <br />3.Supervises adults in custody during clothing and linen exchanges, meals, visitation, commissary <br />activities, cleaning of facilities, and performs regular hourly checks of all adults in custody. <br />4.Follows doctors or nurses orders and instructions in care of ill adults in custody. <br />5.Maintains records and files as required. <br />6.Writes reports as required. <br />RESTITUTION CENTER <br />https://agency.governmentjobs.com/marion/default.cfm?action=specbulletin&ClassSpecID=...8/3/2020 <br /> <br />
