Primary <br />responsibility of this class is to coordinate and provide senior-level technical assistance on projects, <br />quality assurance and quality improvement activities to a health and human services department program <br />delivering intellectual and developmental disability services. <br />SUPERVISION RECEIVED <br />Works under the general supervision of a supervisor who assigns work, establishes goals, and reviews <br />results obtained for overall effectiveness. <br />SUPERVISION EXERCISED <br />Primary supervision of other employees is not a responsibility of positions in this classification. May act as <br />a community program coordinator and provide lead direction to teams of other developmental disability <br />specialists and associates for specific unit or specific task. <br />EXAMPLES OF DUTIES - DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED <br />TO THE FOLLOWING: <br />Performs or may perform any or all functions of the Developmental Disability Associate and <br />Developmental Disability Specialist 1 class, in addition to the following functions: <br />1.Takes primary responsibility for handling special projects which require a great deal of <br />administration and coordination. <br />2.Organizes, plans, schedules, and reviews work assignments. <br />3.Provides input on employee performance evaluations. <br />4.Provides quality improvement recommendations to supervisor and other program leadership <br />5.Develops and coordinates Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement activities <br />6.Provides guidance in daily activities. <br />7.Provides training and technical expertise. <br />https://agency.governmentjobs.com/marion/default.cfm?action=specbulletin&ClassSpecID=...8/3/2020 <br /> <br />
