Plaintiffs must file and serve a response to this order and explain whether they intend to continue <br /> with the case. The deadline for Plaintiffs to respond is August 31, 2020. <br /> TCR-MD 21 provides: "The court may enforce any decision, order,judgment, or other <br /> statement directing a party to perform a specific act by imposing sanctions on the party <br /> refusing or neglecting to comply. Sanctions may include, but are not limited to, dismissal of <br /> the case, placing the noncompliant party in default, and sanctions for contempt as authorized <br /> by statute." <br /> If Plaintiffs do not timely respond to this order, the court may treat such failure as an <br /> abandonment of their case, and order sanctions against Plaintiffs, including but not limited to <br /> dismissal of the appeal. Now, therefore, <br /> IT IS ORDERED that Plaintiffs must file and serve a response to this order no later than <br /> August 31, 2020. If Plaintiffs are unable to file a response due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they <br /> may call the opposing parties and the court prior to August 31, 2020.
