<br />Marion County Class Specification BulletinPage of <br />>>> <br />Occupational Therapy <br />Specialist <br />Class Code: <br />559 <br />Bargaining Unit: 06 - Marion County Employees <br />Association <br />MARION COUNTY <br />SALARY RANGE <br />$1,960.00 - $2,627.20 Biweekly <br />$4,246.67 - $5,692.27 Monthly <br />OVERVIEW: <br />FLSA: EEOC: Department: <br />Exempt02 ProfessionalsHealth <br />GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES <br />Provides regional occupational therapy services for consumers receiving IDD services in Marion County <br />and for early psychosis programs covering Marion, Polk, Linn, Yamhill and Tillamook Counties. Provides <br />occupational profile and performance analysis, written Occupational Therapy Evaluations and <br />Occupational Therapy Treatment and Intervention Plan for respective consumers. Functions as an <br />autonomous Occupational Therapist, responsible for the delivery, safety and effectiveness of <br />occupational therapy services. <br />SUPERVISION RECEIVED <br />Works under the supervision of a supervisor who assigns work, establishes goals and reviews the results <br />obtained for overall effectiveness. <br />SUPERVISION EXERCISED <br />Supervision of others is not a responsibility of positions in this classification. <br />EXAMPLES OF DUTIES - DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED <br />TO THE FOLLOWING: <br />1.Conducts initial evaluations and assessments in areas including functional cognition, sensory <br />motor processing, skills, interests, employability, school performance, self-care, productivity and <br />leisure; selects and administers appropriate evaluation tests; identifies individualized goals and <br />develops treatment program for clients based on assessment results. <br />2.Identifies appropriate therapy technique or activities to achieve goals; identifies equipment and <br />other material needs and any other instructions or information necessary to carry out program. <br />3.Provides occupational profile and performance analysis. <br />4.Provides written Occupational Therapy Evaluation, Treatment and Intervention Plans for all clients. <br />5.Provides and/or consults on follow-up support to clients, families, employers, schools and multi- <br />disciplinary teams consistent with Occupational Therapy Treatment and Intervention Plan. <br />6.Provides relevant training and education to multi-disciplinary team and community members on <br />understanding and improving functional performance. <br />7.Co-facilitates family psycho-education groups and other groups as appropriate. <br />https://agency.governmentjobs.com/marion/default.cfm?action=specbulletin&ClassSpecID=...8/4/2020 <br /> <br />
