<br />Marion County Class Specification BulletinPage of <br />>>> <br />Victim Assistance <br />Manager <br />Class Code: <br />620 <br />Bargaining Unit: 02 - Supervisory <br />MARION COUNTY <br />Established Date: Nov 1, 1983 <br />Revision Date: Apr 24, 2016 <br />SALARY RANGE <br />$2,301.60 - $3,084.80 Biweekly <br />$4,986.80 - $6,683.73 Monthly <br />OVERVIEW: <br />FLSA: EEOC: Department: <br />Exempt02 ProfessionalsDistrict Attorney <br />GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES <br />Responsible for the program development, administration and evaluation of the Victim Assistance <br />Program; responsible for program staff and liaison with community agencies relating to program; <br />performs other duties as required. <br />SUPERVISION RECEIVED <br />Works under general supervision of the District Attorney who outlines work and reviews work for <br />conformance to department standards. <br />SUPERVISION EXERCISED <br />Exercises full supervision over professional and clerical staff; participates in the selection of new <br />personnel, provides for training, evaluates performance, responds to grievances or disciplinary problems, <br />and recommends personnel actions. <br />EXAMPLES OF DUTIES - DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED <br />TO THE FOLLOWING: <br />1.Supervises staff, outlines duties and review work; recommends hiring and firing; prepares and <br />reviews performance evaluations; promotes staff development. <br />2.Seeks out, researches, applies for and implements grants and private donations. Monitors grants; <br />ensures compliance with all grant requirements. <br />3.Develops, administers, and monitors budget and monitors grants; projects revenues and <br />expenditures. <br />4.Develops, disseminates, implements, and evaluates Victim Assistance Program policies and <br />procedures; program planning and development. <br />5.Serves as a spokesperson and liaison with other District Attorney staff, allied professional <br />agencies, community groups, and the community-at-large to carry out the purpose of the program <br />and the laws under which the program must function. <br />6.Participates in the enactment of laws through identifying needs of victims for the creating of <br />legislative bills; testifies and contacts legislators regarding legislation; monitors bills through the <br />https://agency.governmentjobs.com/marion/default.cfm?action=specbulletin&ClassSpecID=...8/4/2020 <br /> <br />
