LIBERTY, SR.
Some time ago you and I spoke concerning our claim for relocation benefits in
connection with the Courthouse Square project. Pursuant to that discussion, transmitted herewith
is our claim for additional relocation benefits. As you may recall, we submitted the first part of
our claim to Mr. Berrey at the time of our displacement from the Courthouse Square location to
our new offices in the University Station office building. That claim covered only direct moving
expenses. At that time we reserved the right to submit an additional or supplemental application
for other available benefits, such as re-establishment expenses and expenses incidental to the
move. As we understand it and as you confirmed in our last telephone conversation, under the
governing federal regulations we have up to eighteen months from the date of relocation to
submit benefit claims. We hereby submit the enclosed Supplemental Application for Relocation
Benefits. This application seeks reimbursement for only losses not included in our April 4, 1997,
application for direct moving expenses.
Thank you very much for your attention. Please let me know if you need any additional
information. We look forward to hearing from the County with respect to this matter.
Very truly yours, ~
~-~ ~ /'~~"~~ Y~:K-•ei-
Maureen Callahan VanderMay
Attorney at Law
MCV/pcp
cc: File
