MOU.doc <br />III. Specific Partner Responsibilities <br />A. Operational Partner Responsibitities <br />This section describes the specific responsibilities of a Partner whose pilot project facility is <br />substantially complete, the building is occupied, and operations are active. Such partners are <br />called "operational partners". Investigation of the pilot project facility under the Program focuses <br />on what rating the project would score under the LEED Green Building Raring SystemTM, and <br />what efforts were required to achieve that rating. <br />1. LEEDTM Rating Activities. The Operational Partner agrees to: <br />a) Survey and score the project pursuant to the LEED Green Building Rating SystemTM and <br />submit an application to USGBC for ce~tification. <br />b) Provide the required documentation to the designated USGBC Prograni Liaison for <br />evaluation. <br />2. Schedule. The Operational Partner agrees to proceed with the following schedule: <br />a) Within 7 days of signing this MOU, to complete the Project Statistics section of the LEEDTM <br />Evaluadon Protocol. <br />b) ~thin 15 days of signing this MOU, to distribute the LEEDTM Evalua.tion Protocol to <br />development team for their review and initial assessment. <br />c) Within 30 days of signing this MOU, to complete and pr~ovide the Criteria Assessment Section <br />of the LEEDTM Evaluation Protocol to the LEEDTM Pilot Program Manager for review. <br />d) Within 45 days of signing ttus MOU, to provide a completed documentation review packet to <br />LEEDTM Pilot Program Manager. <br />e) Upon request by USGBC, to conduct a project review meeting on site within 60 days of <br />signing this MOU. USGBC agrees that it will provide materials, orientation information and <br />pl~nning assistance at or to~this meeting. The Partner agrees that a11 members of the <br />development team with a role in achieving a LEEDTM medal rating (such as facilities <br />management, environmental compliance, human resources, corpora.te communications, <br />strategic planning, financial resources, etc.) will be represented by a senior manager at the <br />meeting. It is anticipated that this meeting will be held at the pilot project facility. <br />4 <br />
