This schedule will be used as a comparative basis of payment in reviewing the <br />Contractor's application for payment. <br />c. Content of Schedule: <br />i. List items of work by specification section number, subcontracts and assigned <br />subsystems. <br />ii. Break down mechanical and electrical costs by specification section. <br />12. Section 01400, Quality Control: ~ <br />a. Owner will employ and pay for services of an independent testing laboratory to pertorm <br />specified se-vices. <br />b. Cooperate with laboratory personnel, provide access to work and to manufacturer's <br />operations. Notify laboratory sufficiently in advance of operations to allow for assignment <br />of personnel and scheduling of tests. <br />13. Section 01500, Temporary Facilities and Controls: <br />a. Requirements of Regulatory Agencies: <br />i. Comply with applicable federal, state and local codes. <br />b. Materials: <br />i. Temporary Telephone and Fax Services: Install in field office at the start of the <br />work, provide outside gong attachment. Maintain service until final completion of <br />the work. <br />ii. Temporary Water Service: Make temporary connection for water used in <br />connection with this work. Owner will pay costs of water used. <br />iii. Temporary Electricity: <br />(1) Service Required: Provide temporary electric power for items listed, <br />throughout construction period, so power can be secured at any desired <br />point with no more than a 100' extension. <br />(2) Provide on each floor 1 power center, for miscellaneous tools and <br />equipment used in construction work, consisting of weather-proof <br />distribution box with minimum of four 20-amp, 120 volt grounded outlets <br />and circuit breaker protection for each outlet. <br />(3) Provide lighting for safe and adequate working conditions throughout <br />building and stairways. Provide not less than'/2 watt of incandescent <br />lighting per square foot using at least 100 watt lamps. Maintain socket <br />voltage of 110 votts minimum. <br />(4) Provide power for construction site offices; for other temporary storage <br />and construction buildings; for testing and checking equipment. <br />(5) Capacity: Provide and maintain adequate electrical services for <br />construction use by all trades during construction period at locations <br />necessary. Notify power company if unusually heavy loads, such as <br />welders, will be connected. <br />iv. Temporary Heat and Ventilation: Provide and maintain acceptable temporary <br />heating and ventilating as required for proper installation, protection and drying of <br />work. Use of fuel burning salamanders or stoves .not vented directly to outside <br />are unacceptable within building. <br />(1) Refer to work of respective sections for environment conditions.to be <br />maintained. <br />
