Remediation Update
3. Melvin Mark Analysis of $1.60
4. Draft RFP
1. Undate of SPOC Response
Billy Wasson had contact with Justice Peterson this morning and it was requested that responses to
SPOC's questions be returned in one package. They are planning on scheduling evening meetings
in mid-April to review the information submitted. A definite date will not be set until all
information has been received by SPOC.
Staff went through each item as outlined in the Action Plan Billy Wasson had distributed to staff
~ last week as a response to SPOC's written report.
Item #11 - Transit's justification for space plan. John Whittington had Arbuckle Costic prepaze a
letter regarding their space planning needs. A draft report will be presented to the Transit board
tonight and will get the report to Billy by March 27.
Item #12 - Meeting with county bond counsel. John Whittington and Billy Wasson have scheduled
a meeting with bond counsel for this afternoon at 2 p.m. and will advise them of the request.
Item #13 - Feasibility study. County's report is ready to go. Transit handed out a copy of their
preliminary 10 yeaz proforma for operating and maintenance expenses. This will also be presented
to Transit's board this evening and a final report to Billy by Friday.
Item # 14a - Parking/north end of block/RFP. John Whittington and Billy Wasson, will create a
document to address this area using information received in a meeting with city on parking. A
portion of 14a deals with the development of the north side of the block. A letter from Arbuckle
Costic to Melvin Mark was handed out to support the development of north side of block. Issuing
an RFP and letting developers respond should answer the question about how do the parties know
if the north end of the block will be attractive to outside tenants.
Item #14b -$1.30 rental rate. Staffwork is complete on this item for county's portion. Transit has
their material on operating & maintenance being presented to board tonight. A copy will be
~ furnished to Billy by tomorrow.
