In the event the <br />General Manager is involuntarily terminated by the District before <br />~ the expiration of the term of employment and during such time as <br />' the General Manager is willing and able to perform assigned duties, <br />then in that event the District agrees to pay the General Manager <br />' a lump sum equal to three (3) months' pay (computed based upon <br />current annual salary), payable on a monthly basis at the same rate <br />~ as provided for in this Agreement until such benefits are <br />exhausted. However, if the General Manager is facing charges for <br />, or is convicted of any illegal act involving personal gain to him, <br />~ or if the Board of Directors acts under subparagraph (b) of this <br />paragraph 4, then the District shall have no obligation to provide <br />' for or pay~severance payments. <br />~ d. Earned Leave Payof f. T e r m i n a t i o n o r <br />~ resignation in good standing with at least sixty (60) days notice <br />' shall entitle the General Manager to a lump sum payment equivalent <br />to all accrued earned leaves except sick leave. <br />~ e. Severance Upon Non-Renewal. Expiration of the <br />Agreement term due to non-renewal by the District shall entitle the <br />, General Manager to severance as provided for in the event of <br />' involuntary termination. <br />f. Voluntary Resictnation. If the General Manager <br />~ voluntarily resigns his position with the District before the <br />expiration of the term of employment, then he shall give the <br />' District at least 30 days' notice in advance. <br />~ <br />Page 5 <br />~ <br />~ <br />
