Once the DD estimate is complete and the new rentable areas are calculated, l~~~IDC will
update the proforma with the latest assumptions. ACTION: Leonard to prepare revised
rentable area matrix. Craig to revise proforma.
FTA VE requirement
7-23 R.G. has prepared and submitted a report outlining the ongoing Courthouse Sq. value
engineering process and requested sign-off on the current peer review approach.
FINANCING
Underwriter Selection
7-16 Scott Clements and the underwriter representative will meet with the development team at
10:00 on 8-10. John Moore with Prudential will discuss the bonding process and their role in
the project.
ENVIRONM_~~AL
D eview
7-2 The DEQ has indicated that they will review and respond on the remaining paxcels by the
middle of July. REV. 7-23 ACTION: Craig will contact Tom Gainer for a status report.
REV.7-30 Tom Gainer is no longer with Century West. Craig spoke with Kathleen Thorpe
and Bill Annen. Kathleen indicated that she had contacted the DEQ and is expecting a written
response to the CW report next week.
~-,..,
PERMITS AND APPROVALS
~ Transformer Issues with PGE
7-30 PGE's reluctance to a11ow the tra.nsformer to be located in the public right of way stems from
PGE's recent experience with the City of Salem revoking permits in the ROW. ACTION:
Leonard and Randy C. will meet with Lew Garrison and Frank Mauldin to discuss the risks
associated with locating the transformer in the ROW.
Loading Dock and Service Area
7-9 The development team has concluded that the loading dock issue should be pursued further as
its use will be important to building operations. The City code is vague and allows different
interpretations. The City has determined that a typical loading dock is not desirable and
prefers on-street loading. ACTION: Billy will contact Frank Mauldin to further discuss the
City's interpretation. REV. 7-23 Billy has E-mailed Frank Mauldin and is awaiting a
response. REV. 7-30 Randy received a response from Peter Fernandez requesting a meeting
to discuss other loading dock options.
ARCHITECTURAL
Space Planning
7-23 A/C has issued a memo indicating a concern with the continually changing state of the Solid
Waste and D.A. departments. The memo indicates that additional service charges may be
incurred if changes are required in Construction Documents phase. The County indicated that
the planning issues with these departments would be resolved prior to proceeding with CDs.
REV. 7-30 The Assessor's, D.A., and Solid Waste departments will remain as planned with
only a few minor changes. Solid Waste has reduced the number of enclosed offices (*VE).
~
