The selection of commissioning agent will be sh~lved for now. <br />MMDC will assume responsibility for a commissioning agent. ACTION;t Leonard to <br />inform interested firms that MMDC will be the contact on commissionin j. <br />Acoustical / Vibration <br />6-27 MMDC recommended that we bring on an acoustical consultant to assist i;n addressing <br />sound isolation issues. MMDC has contacted Russ Altermatt and Associa~tes. Russ can <br />prepare a budget after reviewing structural and architectural plans. ACTIbN: MMDC <br />will contact Russ to request a proposaL ' <br />6-27 In response to Dan's memo concerning post tension construction and bus j~ibration- Mike <br />Hayford has isolated the bus breezeway from the offices to isolate vibratidn. <br />Permitting <br />6-27 Leonard is arranging a pre-application and code review conference with t~e City. Dan <br />would like to have a MMDC team member attend. ACTION: Leonard to''set a date for <br />the conference. ' <br />~r~"' <br />6-27 Craig expressed a concern with adequate budget coverage of permits and ~ees. The team <br />discussed some specific permit and fees, e.g. sewer and water hookup, tra~fic impact, <br />building permits, etc. Dave indicated that Kevin Newland from his office ~bvould be <br />meeting with the city to gather additional permit and fee information. Cra~g would like to <br />have Rick Williams attend. ACTION: Dave and Leonard will do additiqnal permit and <br />fee research. Rick and Kevin will set a time to meet with the city. <br />Environmental <br />6-27 Randy is coordinating a meeting to discuss only environmental issues. Th~ meeting has <br />been set for 7/3 at 2:00 in the Board of Commissioner's meeting room. Ra~ndy is <br />assembling the list of desired attendees. <br />Dewatering <br />6-27 Tom Gainer with Century West (environmental) is coordinating the drill te~st with <br />Geotechnical Resources, Inc. The well was to be drilled 6-27. GRI postpc~ned due to a <br />scheduling conflict with the drill rig operator. Century West expects that c~rilling will <br />occur early next week. Craig inquired whether a revised scope / proposal l~ad been <br />developed. Mike Hayford confirmed that GRI had prepared a revised scopje and fee. <br />ACTION: Mike Hayford to distribute revised proposal to MMDC and Per~ce / Kelly. <br />6-27 Dan inquired about dewatering responsibilities. Dave indicated that if contamination was <br />~ not an issue, e.g. treating contaminated water prior to discharge, Pence / K~lly has <br />
