<br />Re: Courthouse Square Budget
<br />As you may have heard, the Internal Staff Team (now JTC) has concerns that the
<br />demolition/remediation costs are much too high. T'hey requested that the two of you review my
<br />budget work and look for the answers to this problem, or verify it's been recorded correctly and
<br />our initial assumptions were off.
<br />I have enclosed a copy of the following to each of you:
<br />The 2/23/98 budget with the County and Transit expense sheets I received to work from.
<br />The 5/1/98 budget that updates the expenses since 11/30/97 and the corresponding ~
<br />expense sheets I received.
<br />For budget purposes, since the County and Transit have yet to sit down and decide exactly what
<br />is demolition and what is remediation per each bill, I have taken the entire bill by company and
<br />placed it in demolition (above ground work) or remediation (below ground work). The exact
<br />dollar amount will be decided by the fmance team later on.
<br />Please feel free to ask any questions you have. I should have all the backup for how I reached the
<br />numbers in the budget.
