STATE EXHIBIT B <br />PART I <br />RECITALS. <br />The State of Oregon acting through the Oregon Transportation Commission is authorized to enter into <br />agreements and disbu~se funds for the purpose of supporting public transportation pursuant to <br />ORS 184.670 to 184.733. <br />II. The Governor of the State of Oregon designated State to evaluate and select projects and to <br />coordinate the grant application. <br />III. State certifies that sufficient funds are available in the State's current budget to finance costs of this <br />agreement as described in the agreement application and in Exhibit A, not to exceed the stipulated <br />Agreement Amount. <br />IV. Special Transportation Grant Program provides assistance funding to goveming bodies that meet the <br />transportation needs of individuals who are elderly and persons with disabilities pursuant to ORS <br />323.455 and ORS 391.800 through 391.830. <br />V. This Agreement is based upon and is subject to Oregon Revised Statutes, Oregon Administrative <br />Rules. These laws and regulations are contained in ORS 323.455, ORS 391.800 through 391.830. <br />From time to time, these laws, rules and regulations may be amended. State reserves the right to <br />amend this Agreement if it is affected. State will provide thirty (30) days notice of impending changes <br />and will prepare a supplemental agreement incorporating the changes to be executed by the parties to <br />~,.. this Agreement. <br />VI. Information concerning the financial assistance used to finance this grant is shown in Exhibit F. <br />141 <br />
