The committee included Valerie Saiki, Risk Huma~ Sen-ioes cer„s s e t John Shultz, Sheriff's, Bob McCune, Facilities Management, an Management yg o~ om~a i~ Risk Management , Sa1em Area Transit. The group held several meetings. Concerns Ron Freshour , around security were requested and received from County departments and submitted to the committee. In September 1998, the committee prepazed a report (9/1/98 memo attached) which requested guidance on several issues including the level of security and finaacing for modifications. Policy issues were discussed with the Board representative. Proposed modifications were discussed with the project development team. In late November 1998, a report (11/27/98 report attached) was issued detailing the committee's concerns followed by the design team's responses. Although some concerns outlined in the report have now been addressed, a number remain. The committee was re-convened on April 19, 1999 to update the report of 11/27/98.
