Based upon conceptual architectural renderings of the <br />building design (Figure 5}, aesthetics will be improved as the new structure <br />wil[ be more comp~ttibte with the surrounding area_ There is no formal locat <br />design review process required for this project. <br />16. SCENIC RESQURCES <br />No stgniftcant impacts on scenic resources are associated with the proposed <br />project. The project is not Iocated in or near any designated scenic <br />resources protected by local, state or federal statutes or plan~ing guidelines. <br />17. WETLANDS <br />No significant impacts on wetl~nd are associated wrth the proposed project. <br />There are no wetland areas [ocated on or in the vicinity of the project site, <br />and na identified wetland resources are impacted by the proposed project <br />actnrifies. <br />1$. CONSTRUCTION IMPACTS <br />No significant impacts are expected from construction activities relatEd to <br />the project_ <br />Construction activities at the site wi[I be regufated through city of Salem <br />Public Works Qesign Standards and are not expected to result in any <br />violations of local, state or federal air, naise, or water quality standards. <br />Constreaction plans will be subject to reviEw and approval by the city of <br />Salem and wilt incfude measures to mitigate disruption of utilities to <br />surrounding users as warranted. <br />Haul routes for the disposal of debris and spoi( wili be subject to review and <br />approval by the c'rty of Salem. <br />Erosion cont7oi plans are required by the city of Saiem and wi[[ ensure that <br />no significant erosian and/or introducfion of sediments, wastewater or <br />chemicals into the storm drain or groundwater systems o~curs. <br />A traffic control pian for the duration of construction activities wifl be <br />prepared and submitted to the city afi Salem for review and approval. No <br />significant disruptions are anticipated. <br />
