6. Will the county help in providing traffic control or wave parking fees for any phase for the duration of this project? Because Marion County is a government body there are no uermit fees. However, construction/maintenance parking permits, lane closure pernuts, and sidewalk closure permits are required and can be obtained at Sa1em City Hall, Room 325. These permits must be specific as to time and date, required signage, and other items as required. Refer to the Courthouse Square Project when you apply, indicate this is a Marion County project and no fees are required. 7. Can equipment remain in the street or partially block the street for speci~c tasks during the project? The answer is yes, if your permit authorizes use of the streets in this manner. 8.
