Based on the plans <br />ENVIRONMENTAL <br />submitted there are several areas of concern with the structural design of the <br />SERVICES <br /> <br />building. Many portions of the building do not meet prescriptive code construction <br />PARKS <br />requirements as per the 2008 Oregon Specialty Code. Please provide the following <br /> <br />PLANNING <br />information in order to continue with the plan review process. <br /> <br /> <br />OPERATIONS <br /> <br />Please provide the following information: <br /> <br />SURVEYOR <br /> <br /> <br />1)Plans are showing (2) 2x10 @ 16” O.C. spanning 20’ and TJI Joist 11/78 @ 16” <br />O.C. spanning 40’, both set of joist are over spanned. Please provide <br />engineered calculations verify members will meet spans or provide adequate <br />intermediate supports with foundation to reduce spans. <br /> <br /> <br />2)Please provide engineer calculations for over spanned 6x12 roof beams and roof <br />design not built as per prescriptive code requirements per Chapter 8 of the 2008 <br />ORSC. Also provide size of support footings and rafter connections detail to <br />6x12 roof beam. <br /> <br /> <br />3)Please provide engineer calculation for floor joist ledger connection to exterior <br />wall framing. <br /> <br /> <br />4)Please provide engineer lateral calculations for garage door wall, which does <br />not meet prescriptive code requirement per chapter 6 of the 2008 ORSC and <br />identify on plans how the rest of the building will meet prescriptive wall bracing <br />requirements. <br /> <br /> <br />5)Please choose an additional energy path from table N1101.1 (2) of Chapter 11 <br />of the 2008 ORSC. <br /> <br /> <br />
