The truss drawings diagrammatically show <br />web bracing in fourteen places on each truss. The truss drawings also require that the <br />bracing be designed by a licensed engineer. Below, I have listed the web bracing <br />requirements that may be used to provide web bracing at the points indicated on the truss <br />drawings. <br /> <br /> I. Us;e ~2 DOUG - FIR 2 x 4 bracing members ( t 4 places) <br />2. Attach thc bracing members to thc web members with three 16d nails at each <br /> end. <br />3, Attach a 24" length of Simpson Type CMS]' - 16 coiled strap (or equal) across <br /> the butt joint between the bracing members.
