(UFC 1007.2.2.1, Exception 2) <br /> <br />3) Provide connection of smoke detectors and kitchen hood, or other extinguishing system, to <br /> the building fire alarm system (UFC 1007.2.1.2, 1007.2.4.1, NFPA 72-Par. 5-7). <br /> <br />4) Provide spacing of visual appliances within rooms using the appropriate spacing, candela <br /> ratings and number of appliances in accordance with NFPA 72-1996, Sections 6-3 and 6-4. <br /> Provide minimum spacing or synchronization for more than two visual appliances within a <br /> room or within any field of view. (NFPA72, 6-4.4.1.1).
