[Sec. 40§~1] <br />WATERPROOFING REQUIRED, Foundation walls enclosing <br />habitable or storage space shall be waterproofed. <br />[Sec. 406,2] <br />GARAGE/CARPORT FLOOR. That area of floor used for the <br />~arking of automobiles or other vehicles shall be sloped to <br />acilitate the movement of liquids to a drain or toward the <br />main vehicle entry doorway. [Sec. 309,2] <br />THE GARAGE shall be separated from the loft and its <br />attic area by means of 1/2 inch gypsum board applied to the <br />garage side of the wall. Where the separation is a floor- <br />ceiling assembly, the structure supporting the separation <br />shall be protected by 1/2 inch gypsum board or equivalent, <br />The door between the garage and loft shall be equipped <br />with solid wood doors not less than I 3/8 inches in thick- <br />ness or 20-minute fire-rated, or equivalent. <br />[Sec. 309,1, 309,2] <br />LANDING / EXTERIOR DOOR~ A minimum 3 foot x 3 foot landing <br />shall be required on each side of an egress door. The floor <br />or landing shall not be more than 1 and 1/2 inches lower <br />than the top of the threshold. Exception: The landing at <br />the exterior doorway shall not be more than 8 2/4 inches <br />below the top of the threshold. [Sec. 212~1] <br />STAIRWAYS shall not be less than 36 inches in clear width at <br />all points between the handrail height and the required <br />minimum headroom of 6 feet 8 inches. Minimum width from the <br />handrail down is 32 inches with one handrail, 28 inches with <br />two. The minimum required stair tread width is 9 inches, <br />The maximum stair rise is 8 inches, When risers are closed, <br />all treads less than 10 inches shall have a uniform nosing <br />betweem 3/4 inches and I 1/4 inches, The greatest riser <br />height/tread depth shall not exced th smallest by more than <br />2/8 inch. [Sec. 314,1; 214.2: 314,2.1; 314~3] <br />NON-HEATED STRUCTURE, This structure is being reviewed as a <br />non-heated structure, tf the building is to be heated, <br />apply for an addendum to these plans by submitting revised <br />pians showing how this structure will meet the requirements <br />of the Oregon Energy Code.
