6. FIRESTOPPING shall be provided in the following locations: <br />1) In concealed spaces of stud wails, including furred spaces not to exceed 10 feet ho <br />rizontally, and at the ceiling and floor level. <br />2) At all interconnections between concealed vertical and horizontal spaces such as occur at <br />soffits, drop or cove ceilings, etc. <br />3) In concealed spaces between stair stringers at the top and boffom of the run and wall cavities <br />in line with the stringers; <br />4) At openings around vents, pipes, ducts, chimneys and fireplaces at ceiling and floor level, with <br />noncombustible materials. [Sec. 602.7] <br /> <br />'7. MOVED BUILDINGS. Existing buildings or structures which are removed from their founda- <br />tion and relocated to another site within this state shall be in substantial compliance as defined <br />below. (ORS 455.410.) <br /> <br />$. "SUBSTANTIAL COMPLIANCE" means compliance with local construction cedes in effect as <br />of the odginal permit date of the building or structure, or where there was no permitting required <br />at the time of original construction, with basic health and safety standards, as described in the <br />closest dated Uniform Housing Code, as published by the International Conference of Building <br />Officials as of the date of construction. Only the insulation, overhead and underneath the struc- <br />ture, shall be upgraded to the current insulation requirements of the state building code, or the <br />maximum extent possible subject to the design of the structure. <br /> <br />9. NON-HEATED STRUCTURE. This structure is being reviewed as a non-heated structure. If <br />the building is to be heated, apply for an addendum to these plans by submitting revised plans <br />showing how this structure will meet the requirements of the Oregon Energy Code.
