Nature of the Application <br /> <br /> This matter comes before the Marion County Hearings Officer <br />on the application of Leathers Inc., for a variance to place a 65 <br />foot hight sign where a 45 foot high sign is allowed on a 12.6 <br />acre property in an ID (INTERCHANGE DISTRICT) zone located at <br />12334 Ehlen RD NE, Aurora, Marion County, Oregon. <br /> <br />II. Relevant criteria <br /> <br /> The standards and criteria relevant to this application are <br />found in the Marion County Comprehensive Plan (MCCP) and the <br />Marion County Zoning Ordinance (MCZO) (Rural), especially chapters <br />122 and 150. <br /> <br />III. Public Hearing <br /> <br /> A public hearing was duly held on this application on July <br />16, 1997. At the hearing, the Planning Division file was made <br />part of the record.
