File Number: 111784 <br />Page 2 of 8 Pages <br /> <br />SCHEDULE A <br /> <br />Waste Disposal Limitations <br /> <br />The permittee is authorized to operate and maintain a domestic sewage treatment and disposal facility <br />consisting of a Recirculating Textile Filter (RTF) unit with final disposal to a soil absorption drainfield <br />which has been constructed in accordance with plans and specifications approved by the <br />Department and the following conditions: <br /> <br />The average daily sewage flow to the drainfield should be approximately fifty percent (50%) of <br />the maximum daily or peak flow to the treatment system. The maximum peak daily flow shall <br />not exceed the following unless otherwise approved by the Department: <br /> <br />System <br /> 001 <br /> <br />Maximum Daily Flow <br /> 2,010 GPD <br /> <br />The influent to the treatment unit shall not exceed the following maximum concentrations: <br /> <br />Parameter Limitation <br />BOD5 300 mg/1 <br />Greases and Oil 25 mg/1 <br />TSS 150 mg/I <br />TKN 150 mg/1 <br /> <br />The effluent from the treatment un/t to the draiafield shall not exceed the following maximum <br />concentrations: <br /> Parameter Limitation <br /> BOD5 20 mg/1 <br /> TSS 20 mg/1 <br /> <br />d) <br /> <br />No discharge to surface waters is permitted. All wastewater shall be distributed into a soil <br />absorption facility so as to prevent: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />Surfacing of wastewater on the ground surface, surface runoff or subsurface drainage <br />through drainage tile. <br /> <br />The creation of odors, fly and mosquito breeding and other nuisance conditions. <br /> <br />3) The overloading of land with nutrients or organics. <br /> <br />No cooling water, air conditioner water, water softener brine, groundwater, oil, hazardous materials, <br />roof drainage, storm water runoff, or other aqueous or non-aqueous substances which are, in the <br />judgment of the Department, detrimental to the performance of the system or to groundwater, shall be <br />discharged into the sewage treatment system, unless specifically approved in writing by the <br />Department. <br /> <br />No activities shall be conducted that could cause an adverse impact on existing or potential beneficial <br />uses of ground~vater. <br /> <br /> <br />
