620 8TH, AUMSVILLE <br />95-00351 (608688) <br />January 28, 1995 <br />Page 1 <br /> <br />iMarion County <br />OREGON <br /> COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br /> DEPARTMENT <br /> <br /> Building Inspection - Dwelling Plan Review <br /> <br />The attached plans have been reviewed for compliance with the State of Oregon <br />1993 Edition One and Two Family Dwelling Specialty Code. <br /> <br />A COPY OF THE APPROVED PLANS SHALL BE KEPT ON THE SITE OF THE BUILDING <br />OR WORK AT THE TIME OF THE INSPECTION. {R-111.2) <br /> <br />The grade away from foundation walls shall fall a minimum of 6 in. <br />within the first 10 ft., except as restricted by lot lines where the <br />fall will be a minimum of 6 in. regardless of the horizontal distance <br />available. (R-301.3) <br /> <br />FLOOR TRUSSES SHALL BE FROM AN A~PROVED MANUFACTURER AND SHALL BE <br />INSTALLED AS PER THEIR LISTING AND THE MANUFACTURERS INSTALLATION <br />INSTRUCTIONS. <br /> <br />When reinforcement is located in the footing in the proximity of the <br />electrical service panel, one piece of the reinforcement shall extend a <br />minimum of 1' above the plate to act as a grounding electrode for the <br />panel. If a piece is bent and tied, it must be tied {MINIMUM 1' LAP) to <br />a minimum 20' long section of reinforcement in the footing or wall. <br />Contact the Electrical Inspector with questions. (NEC Article 250- <br />81 (c)) <br /> <br />Foundation walls and other vertical concrete exposed to the weather <br />shall have a minimum specified compressive strength of 3000 psi. <br />Porches, carport slabs, garage floor slabs and steps exposed to the <br />weather shall have a minimum specified compressive strength of 3500 psi. <br />Table NO. Footings sections: 12 in. wide <br /> <br />A keyway in the footing is an acceptable method and will transfer the <br />lateral loads, OR provide a 18 inch long No. 3 dowels extending 12 <br />inches from the footing into the wall, 4 feet on center, OR pour the <br />footing and stemwall at one time (monolithically). All wood left <br />permanently in contact with the foundation shall be FOUNDATION GRADE <br />WITH ALL CUT ENDS AND/OR SIDES TREATED with an approved wood <br />preservative.
