Currently the contractor plans to resume the gravity sewer construction in late August
1997 and finish this phase in 2 to 3 weeks.

The sewer pump station power easement is to be made available in the next few days.
The pumps have been authorized for purchase six weeks ago or so. I would think that sewer
service would be available in late September 1997. The City of Donald is under contract to strip
filter No.3, add additional bentonite and reprocess and compact the existing liner.

I see no reason why the Owners of this new building (the only employees) could not
utilize toilets in the house 40 feet or so away from this structure in their ownership until sanitary
sewer service available. The Owners should send a letter to Mr. Alan Haley with Marion County
Public Works Department that they will connect within 60 calendar days to the sewer system and
curtail the use of toilets in the existing house after receipt of Notice of available of sewers. The
Owners are being penalized for delays beyond their control.

I trust this information will assist all parties to deal with the need to allow occupancy of
this new building in a reasonable time period.

Give me a call if you have any questions.

Martin G. Boatwright P,E,
