Almost all of the following information was taken from building permits
and approved building plans. It includes building owner, Powerland Site Plan number,
floor space, construction date, building permit number and descriptive information.
Buildings are listed in chronological order starting with the first A-3 building. Non A-3
buildings are not included.
1.
Powerland Owner description Occupancy Construction Permit Number
Number Date
22 Pacific Northwest Truck A-3 1993 93-442
Museum building No.1 Phase 2
This museum building was
actually built in two phases,
1990 and 1993. Total size is
11,300 ft2(Phase 16000ft',
Phase II 5300ft2)the second
permit includes requirement
for sanitary fixtures.
This building passed final
inspection without
restrooms. The project
manager stated in a recent
4, communication that the
restrooms were required
because Phase II contained
an Office, not because it was
A-3. He stated office was
changed to a library and
restroom was deleted. It may
also be relevant that in 1993
there was no sewer service
at Powerland and leach
fields were prohibited. The
only way to service
restrooms was an above
ground septic system. The
project manager does not
know if there is any
documentation on this. The
permit record for Phase I
was not available for this
analysis.
2.
31 Antique Powerland Museum A-3 1994 94-965
