Project No. 364 571 Page 5

All Foundations

We recommend that a geotechnlcal engineer review the foundation plans to verify that
our recommendations have been properly interpreted and incorporated in the project
documents. We also recommend that a geotechnical engineer observe all excavations
prior to placing steel and concrete to verify that soil conditions are as anticipated. If
undesirable soil conditions are observed, design changes can be made.

LIMITATIONS

This report is issued with the understanding that it is the responsibility of the owner, or
of the owner's representative, to ensure that the information trod recommendations
contained in this report are brought to the attention of the architect and structural
engineer for the project and incorporated in the plnn% and the necessary steps are taken
to see that the contractor and subcontractors carry out such recommendations in the
field.

Geotechnical engineering and the geologic sciences are characterized by uncertainty.
Professional judgments presented are based partly on our understanding of the proposed
construction, and partly on our general experience. Our engineering and geology work
and judgements rendered meet current professional standards; no other warranties,
either expressed or implied, are made.

It has been a pleasure working with you on the project.
