94-03908 (58705) <br />NovemberPage 1 lB, 1994 <br /> <br />OREGON <br /> <br /> Bnilding Inspection - Dwelling Plan Review <br /> <br />The attached plans have been ~eviewed for compliance with the State of Oregon <br />1993 Edition One and Two Family Dwelling Specialty Code. <br /> <br />RESIDENCE <br /> <br />A COPY OF THE APPROVED PLANS SHAL~ BE KEPT ON THE SITE OF THE BUILDING <br />OR WORK AT THE TIME OF TEE INSPECTION. (E-111.2) <br /> <br />The grade away from foundation walls shall fall a minimum of 6 in. <br />within the first l0 ft., except as restricted by lot lines where the <br />fall will be a minimum of 6 in. regardless of the horizontal distance <br />available. (R~301.3) <br /> <br />Foundation walls and other vertical concrete exposed to the weather <br />shall have a minimum specified compressive strength of 3000 psi. <br />Porches, carport slabs, garage floor slabs and steps exposed to the <br />weather shall have a minimum specified compressive strength of 3500 psi. <br />Table No. (R-302.2) <br /> <br />Footings shall extend not less than 12 in. below the finish natural <br />grade. Foundations walls shall extend at least 6 in. above the finished <br />grade at all points. (R-303) (R-304.2) <br /> <br />A keyway in the footing is an acceptable method and will transfer the <br />lateral loads, OR provide a 18 inch long NO. 3 dowels extending 12 <br />inches from the footing into the wall, 4 feet on center, OR pour the <br />footing and stemwall at one time (monolithically). <br /> <br />This foundation wail is being reviewed assuming 4 feet of unbalanced <br />fill or less. If the astual height of fill will be more than 4 feet~ <br />then an ADDENDUM to this plan review shall be made by the permit holder, <br />by submitting to this office revised foundation plans showing the true <br />fill height before construction commences. <br /> <br />The Structural supports for decks, balconies, porches or similar <br />structures shall be pressure-treated wood to protect against decay. <br /> <br />~rovide at least 1 square foot of underfloor ventilation for each 150 <br />square feet of crawl space area. The openings shall be covered with a <br />corrosion resistant wire mesh. At least o~e such opening shall be <br />~rovided within 3 feet of each corner of the building. <br /> <br />Provide a~ access crawl hole to the underfloor space. The minimum size <br />opening required is 18 inches by 24 inches. <br /> <br />"APPROVED" only when this sheet is attached to plans <br /> <br /> <br />
