December 6, 1994 APPLICANT~ SITE NUMBER~ STANDARD SYSTEM CONSTRUCTION DETAIL SHEET JOHN M. GROSS 94-4133, LOT 6, BLOCK 4, PATTON ADDITION Your site has been found suitable for a STANDARD ON-SITE SEWAGE DISPOSAL SXSTEM. The following construction specifications shall apply to the installa- tion of your septic system. The septic tank shall have a minimum liquid capacity of 1000 gallons. The projected daily sewage flow for this project is calculated at 450 qal. lons per day. Based on soil conditions observed on this site, the disposal field will be sized at 75 lineal feet per 15q gallons of projected daily sewage flow. A minimum Of 225 lineal feet of disposal field will be required for your proposed develop- ment. The disposal trenches are constructed two (2} feet wide and on minimum ten (10) foot centers and with no line exceeding 125 feet in length. The trenches and perforated pipe are installed level (±1") and contoured to follow the natural ground surface. The disposal field shall be constructed with serial distribution with a minimum trench depth of 24 inches and a maximum trench depth of .~6 inches. There must be at least 12 inches of backfill over the top of the gravel, measured from the natural ground surface. This approval is site specific to the area tested and the septic system must be located in the i~mediate area of the test pits unless otherwise autho- rized by this office. A new site evaluation may be required if the system is proposed for a different area on the property. SPECIAL CONDITIONS: The drainfields must be installed as far upslope as possible to allow space for a complete replacement system. A pre-permit field stakeout is required to establish the elevations and locations of the individual lines of both drainfields. Alternative seepage trenches Or a sand filter system can be considered for the replacement system if space is not available to site a complete standard replacement drainfield. Refe~ to the stakeout procedure and the setback list for details to complete the stakeout. Use care not to alter the natural topsoil prior to d~ainfield installation. Dry soil summer season construction is recommended due to limitations of the steep slope and wooded hillside. __TH~S IS NOT A PEP24IT TO INSTALL THE SEPTIC SYSTEM.
