All detesters shall be interconnected such that <br />the actuation of one alarm will actuate all the alarms in the individual <br />unit and shall provide an alarm which will be audible in all sleeping <br />areas. (R-215.1) <br /> <br />Bathrooms shall be provided with artifisial light and an approved <br />mechanical ventilation system capable of producing a change of air every <br />12 minutes or a window of not less than 3 sq. ft., one-half of which <br />must be openable. (R-203.3) <br /> <br />Wood framed walls less than four feet in width at garage door openings <br />shall be provided with approved hold-down anchors. Anchors are to be <br />provided at each end of each wall segment and connect the wall studding <br />to the concrete foundation. (R-?07) <br /> <br />A readily accessible attic access shall be provided to any attic area <br />having a clear height of over 30 inches. A framed opening not less thaa <br />22 in. by 30 in. is required. <br /> <br />Roof trusses are required to be designed by an Oregon registered <br />Engineer or Architect. FOr trusses manufactured by an approved <br />fabrication plant, have the design and layout drawings available at the <br />construction site for the framing inspection. All job site cutting Or <br />modification of the roof trusses shall be clearly shown in the <br />engineer's design calculations and drawings. If trusses are to be built <br />at the job site, submit the engineer's design and construction plans to <br />the Marion County Building Department prior to start of construction and <br />have the approved drawings available at =he site for the framing <br />inspection. <br /> <br />Approval as a result of this plan review or an inspection shall not be <br />construed to be an approval of a violation of the previsions of the dwelling <br />code or of other ordinances of the jurisdiction.
