485 OLNEY ST, AUMSVILLE <br />94-1267 (9053894) <br />April 19, 1994 <br />Page 1 <br /> <br />Marion County <br /> <br /> OREGON <br />COMMUNITY DI~VELOPMENT <br />DEPARTMENT <br /> <br />Building Inspection - Dwelling Plan Review <br /> <br />The attached plans have been reviewed for compliance with the State of Oregon <br />1993 ~dition One and Two Family Dwelling Specialty Code. <br /> <br />A copy of approved plans when required by the building official shall be <br />kept on the site of the building or work at the time of inspection. <br />(R-iii. D) <br /> <br />Approved numbers or addresses shall be placed on all buildings in such a <br />position as to be plainly visible and legible from the street or road <br />fronting the property. (UFC 10.208) <br /> <br />The grade away from foundation walls shall fall a minimum of 6 in. <br />within the first 10 ft., except as restricted by lot lines where the <br />fall will be a minimum of 6 in. regardless of the horizontal distance <br />available. (R-301.3) <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />Basement walls, foundation walls, and other vertical concrete exposed to <br />the weather shall have a minimum specified compressive strength of <br />3000 psi. Porches, carport slabs, garage floor slabs and steps exposed <br />to the weather shall have a minimum specified compressive strength of <br />3500 psi. Table No. (R-302.2) <br /> <br />12. <br /> <br />Foundation walls shall extend at least 8 in. above the finished grade to <br />the foundation at all points. (R-304.2) (6 in. where pressure treated <br />sill plates are used.) <br /> <br />20. <br /> <br />Foundation plates shall be bolted to the foundation with minimum <br />1/2 inch diameter by 10 inch anchor bolts embedded at least 7 inches <br />into concrete or reinforced masonry and spaced not more than 6 feet <br />apart with a minimum of 2 bolts per piece with one bolt within 12 inches <br />of the end of each piece. Figure (R-303) <br /> <br />23. <br /> <br />Provide an access crawl hole to the underfloor space. The minimum size <br />opening required is 18 inches by 24 inches. (R-311.2) <br /> <br />37. <br /> <br />38. <br /> <br />The garage shall be completely separated from the residence and its <br />attic area by means of 1/D-inch gypsum board Or equivalent applied to <br />the garage side. The door between the garage and residence shall be <br />equipped with solid wood doors not less than 1 3/8 inches in thickness <br />or 20-minute fire rated, or equivalent. (R-D09.2) <br /> <br />Heating and cooling appliances located in a garage shall be protected <br />from impact by automobiles. Appliances that generate a glow, spark of <br />flame capable of igniting gasoline vapors located in a garage shall be <br />installed with burners, burner ignition devices or heating elements and <br />switches at least 18 inches above the floor level.
