660 8TH ST, AUMS~ILL~ <br />94-O%564 (54396) <br />May 17, 1994 <br />Page I <br /> <br />?ar on Count <br /> OREGON <br /> <br />Building Inspectie~ - Dwelling ~lau Review <br /> <br />The attached plans have been reviewed for compliance with the State of Oregon <br />1~93 Edition one and TwO Family Dwelling Specialty Code. <br /> <br />The grade away from foundation walls shall fall a minimum of 6 in. <br />within the first 10 ft., except as restricted by lot lines where the <br />fall will be a minimum of 6 in. regardless of the horizontal distance <br />available. (R-301.3) <br /> <br />The area within the foundation walls shall have all vegetation, top soil <br />and foreign material removed. (R-603.2) <br /> <br />Foundatio~ walls and other vertical concrete exposed to the weather <br />shall have a minimum specified compressive strength of 3000 psi. <br />Porches, carport slabs, garage floor slabs and steps exposed to the <br />weather shall have a minimum specified compressive strength of 3500 psi. <br />Table No. (R~302.2} <br /> <br />Foundation walls shall extend at least 6 in. above the finished grade to <br />the foundation at all points. (R-304.2) <br /> <br />The structural supports for decks, balconies, porches or similar <br />structures shall be pressure-treated wood to protect against decay. <br />(R-309.1) <br /> <br />INSTALL $9" x 39" x 12" FOOTING WITH (4) ~4 Pd~SAR EACH WAY AT COR/~ER OF <br />FOUNDATION AT POINT LOAD UNDER LEFT END OF GIRDER TRUSS. <br /> <br />Provide st least 1 square foot of underfloor ventilation for each 150 <br />square ~eet of c~awl space area. The openings shall be covered with <br />corrosion resistant wire mesh. At least one such opening shall be <br />provided within 3 feet of each corner of the building. (R-311.1) <br /> <br />Provide an access crawl hole to the underfloor space. The minimum size <br />opening required is 1~ inches by 24 inches. (R-311.2) <br /> <br />Every sleeping room shall have at least one operable window approved for <br />emergency egress or rescue. The window eill height shall not be mor8 <br />than 44 inches above the floor. The minimum net c~r o~ening width <br />dimension shall be 20 inches. The minimum net Opening height shall be <br />24 inches. The minimum net clear opening area shall be at least 5.7 <br />square feet. (R-210.2) <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />The garage shall be completely separated from the residence and its <br />attic a~ea by means of 1/2-inch gypsum board or equivalent applied to <br />th~ garage side. The door between the garage and residence shall be <br />equipped with solid wood doors not less than 1 3/8 inches in thickness <br />or 20-minute fire rated, or equivalent.
