(426) <br /> <br />The plans for the above indicated project are acceptable as submitted subject <br />to the following items noted below: <br /> <br />This is a Plan Review covering the construction of the above indicated new <br />211.46 ft. x 63.75 ft. x 27.58 ft non-farm agricultural building. Plans have <br />been reviewed for compliance with the provisions Df the Oregon state <br />Structural Specialty Code ('91 UBC) 1993 Edition. <br /> <br />The area of Group M Division 3 (Non-Farm Agricultural) building not <br />exceeding one story in height is not limited if the building is entirely <br />surrounded and adjoined by public ways or yards not less than 60 feet in <br />width. (Appendix ll08(b)) <br /> <br />The maximum distance of travel from any point in the building to an <br />exterior door, horizontal exit, exit passageway or an enclosed stairway <br />shall not exceed 300 feet. (Appendix 1111) The locations of the exit <br />doors shown on the foundation plan is acceptable. <br /> <br />One exit is required for each 15,000 sq. ft. of floor area and fraction <br />thereof. (Appendix 1111) The number of exit doors shown on the <br />foundation plan is acceptable. <br /> <br />Exit openings shall be not less than 2 ft. 6 in. by 6 ft. 8 in. <br />(Appendix 1111) Exit doors shall be of the pivoted or side-hinged <br />swinging type. (3304(b}) <br /> <br />Exit doors shall be openable from the inside without the use of a key or <br />any special knowledge or effort. Manually operated edge or surface <br />bolts are prohibited.
