535 Olney <br />Permit # 54626 <br />Control # 94-1694 <br />May 24, 1994 <br />Page 1 <br /> <br />Mar on County <br /> OREGON <br />COMMUNITY O£¥ELOPMENT <br />DEPARTM£NT <br /> <br />Building Inspection - Dwelling Plan R~view <br /> <br />The attached plans have been reviewed for compliance with the state of oregon <br />1993 Edition One and Two Family Dwelling Specialty Code. <br /> <br />A copy of approved plans when required by the building official shall be <br />kept on the site of the building or work at the time of inspection. (R- <br />111,2) <br /> <br />Approved numbers or addresses shall be placed on all buildings in such a <br />position as to be plainly visible and legible from the street or road <br />fronting the property. (UFC 10.208) <br /> <br />The grade away from foundation walls shall fall a minimum of 6 in. <br />within the first 10 ft., except as restricted by lot lines where the <br />fall will be a minimum of 6 in. regardless of the horizontal distance <br />available. (R-301.3) <br /> <br />When the footing and stemwall are poured in two separate pours, a keyway <br />in the footing is an acceptable method of transferring lateral loads <br />(seismic or wind) from the stemwall into the footing, or as an <br />alternate, provide 18 inch long No. 3 dowels, extending 12 inches into <br />the wall from the footing, spaced at 4 feet on center. <br /> <br />Provide at least 1 square foot of underfloor ventilation for each 150 <br />square feet of crawl space area. The openings shall be covered with a <br />corrosion resistant wire mesh. At least one such opening shall be <br />provided within 3 feet of each corner of the building. (R-311.1) <br /> <br />Provide an access crawl hole to the underfloor space. The minimum size <br />opening required is 18 inches by 24 inches. (R-311.2) <br /> <br />Every sleeping room shall have at least one operable window approved for <br />emergency egress or rescue. The window sill height shall not be more <br />than 44 inches above the floor. The minimum net clear opening width <br />dimension shall be 20 inches. The minimum net opening height shall be <br />24 inches. The minimum net clear opening area shall be at least 5.7 <br />square feet. (R-210.2) <br /> <br />The garage shall be completely separated from the residence and its <br />attic area by means of 1/2-inch gypsum board Or equivalent applied to <br />the garage side. The door between the garage and residence shall be <br />equipped with solid wood doors not less than 1-3/8 inches in thickness <br />or 20-minute fire rated, or equivalent. (R-209.2) <br /> <br />Appliances that generate a glow, spark or flame capable of igniting <br />gasoline vapors and located in a garage shall be installed with burners, <br /> <br />"APPROVED" only when this sheet is attached to plans <br /> <br /> <br />
