230 240 Second St <br />Permit # 52594 <br />Control # 94-438 <br />February 10, 1994 <br />Page 1 <br /> <br />_Marion Cou.ty <br /> <br />OREGON <br /> <br />D[ pARTM~N'I' <br /> <br />Building Inspection - Dwelling Plan Review <br /> <br />The attached plans have been reviewed for compliance with the State of Oregon <br />~993 Edition One and Two Family Dwelling Specialty Code. <br /> <br />A copy of approved plans when required by the building official shall be <br />kept On the Site of the building or work at the time of inepeotion. (R- <br />111.2) <br /> <br />Approved numbers er addressee shall be placed on all buildings in such a <br />position as to be plainly visible and legible from the street or road <br />fronting the property. (UFC 10.208) <br /> <br />The grade away from foundation walls shall fall a minimum of 6 in. <br />within the first 10 ft., except as restricted by lot lines where the <br />fall will be a minimum of 6 in. regardless o~ the horizontal distance <br />available. (R-301.3) <br /> <br />Dwelling units in two-family dwellings shall be separated from each <br />other by wall (i.e.: 2 x 4 s~uds @ 16-inch centers, S/S-inch Type X <br />gypsum wallboard each wall face) and/or floor assemblies of not less <br />than 1-hour ~ire-resistive rating. Fire-resistive rated ~loor-ceiling <br />and wall assemblies shall extend to and be tight against the exterior <br />wall, and wall assemblies shall extend to the underside of the roof <br />sheathing. (R-218) Provide a detail of the wall construction where <br />fire resistive walls are required. <br /> <br />Every sleeping room shall have at least one operable window approved for <br />e~rgency egress or rescue. The window sill height shall not be more <br />than 44 inches above the floor. The minimum net clear opening width <br />dimension shall be 20 inches. The minimum net opening height shall be <br />24 inches. The minimum net clear opening area shall be at least 5.7 <br />square feet. (R-210.2) <br /> <br />The garage shal% be completely separated from the residence and its <br />attic area by means of 1/2-inch gypsum board er equivalent applied to <br />the garage side. <br /> <br />When alterations repairs or additions are made to an existing dwelling, <br />the entire building shall be provided with smoke detectors located a~ <br />required for new dwellings.
