Aumsville <br />February 24~ 1994 <br />Page I <br /> <br />Marion County <br /> OREGON <br />COMMUNITY DI~VI~LOPMENT <br />DEPARTMEN[ <br /> <br />Building Inspection - Dwelling Plan Review <br /> <br />The attached plans have been reviewed for compliance with the State of Oregon <br />1993 Edition One and Two Family Dwelling Specialty Code. <br /> <br />Approved numbers or addresses shall be placed on all buildings in <br />such a position as to be plainly visible and legible from the <br />street or road fronting the property. (UFC 10.208) <br /> <br />The grade away from foundation walls shall fall a minimum of 6 in. <br />within the first 10 ft., except as restricted by lot lines where <br />the fall will be a minimum of 6 in. regardless of the horizontal <br />distance available. (R-301.3) <br /> <br />Provide at least 1 square foot of underfloor ventilation for each <br />150 square feet of crawl space area. The openings shall be <br />covered with a corrosion resistant wire mesh. At least one such <br />opening shall be provided within 3 feet of each corner of the <br />building. (R-311.1) <br /> <br />Provide an access crawl hole to the underfloor space. The minimum <br />size opening required is 18 inches by 24 inches. (R-311.2) <br /> <br />Every sleeping room shall have at least one operable window <br />approved for emergency egress or rescue. The window sill height <br />shall not be more than 44 inches above the floor. The minimum net <br />clear opening width dimension shall be 20 inches. The minimum net <br />opening height shall be 24 inches. The minimum net clear opening <br />area shall be at least 5.7 square feet. (R-210.2) <br /> <br />The garage shall be completely separated from the residence and <br />its attic area by means of 1/2-inch gypsum board or equivalent <br />applied to the garage side. The door between the garage and <br />residence shall be equipped with solid wood doors not less than 1- <br />3/8 inches in thickness or 20-minute fire rated, or equivalent. <br />(R-209.2) <br /> <br />Appliances that generate a glow, spark or flame capable of <br />igniting gasoline vapors and located in a garage shall be <br />installed with burners~ burner ignition devices or heating <br />elements and switches at least 18 inches above the floor level (M- <br />1006.3) <br /> <br />Provide screened attic vents with a net free area of 1/150 of the <br />attic area (or 1/300 if half is along eaves and the other half in <br />the upper portion}.
