CAPPIN~ FIL~ SYSTEM CCNSTRUCTION DETAIL <br />September 29, 1993 <br /> <br />APPLICANT: BOB HOLT <br />SITE NUMBER: 93-3172 <br /> <br /> Your site has been found suitable for a SAND FILTER PLUS FULL CAPPING <br />FILL ALTERNATIVE SEWAGE DISPOSAL SYSTEM. The following construction specifica- <br />tions shall apply to the installation of your septic system. <br /> <br />1. The septic tank shall have a minimum liquid capacity of 100~0 <br /> gallons. <br /> <br />The projected daily sewage flow for this project is calculated at <br />450 qallons per day. Rased on soil conditions observed on this <br />sitev the disposal field will be sized at 50 lineal feet per 150 <br />qallons of projected daily sewage flow. A minimum of 150 lineal <br />fee~ of disposal field will be required for your proposed develop- <br />ment. The disposal trenches are constructed two (2) feet wide and <br />on minimum ten (10) foot centers and with no line exceeding 125 <br />feet in length. The trenches and perforated pipe are installed <br />level (il") and contoured to follow the natural ground surface. <br /> <br />Th~ disposal field shall be constructed with equal distribution <br />with a minimum trench depth of 12 inches and a maximum trench <br />depth of 12 incDe~. The capping fill material must be inspected <br />and approved prior to placement. The fall shall be of the same <br />textural class, or one class finer, than the native topsoil. The <br />disposal field area must be scarified to destroy any vegetative <br />mat on the surface. Fill material shall be evenly graded to a <br />final depth of sixteen (16) inches over the gravel. ~pinq .Fill <br />systems ..shall be..construeted between June 1 and October I or <br />durinq ~uch times when our staff finds soil moisture conditions <br /> <br />The site must be protected from traffic, livestock, farming or <br />other damaging activities. <br /> <br /> An effluent lift pump may be necessary to construct the disposal field <br />in the approved area asd at the correct depth. <br /> <br /> This approval is site specific to the a~ea tested and the s~ptic system <br />must be located in the immediate area of the test pits unless otherwise autho- <br />rized by this office. A new site evaluation may be required if the system is <br />proposed for a different area on the property. <br /> <br />SPECIAL CONDITIONS: <br /> Plans for the sand filter/capping fill repair should be submitted for <br /> plan review as soon as possible as the permit cannot be issued until the <br /> plans are approved. The existing septic tank must be pumped and properly <br /> abandoned. Observe all normal setback/separation distances. Refer to the <br /> enclosed setback list. <br /> <br />THIS IS NOT A PEF~MIT ~ INST~L THE SEPTIC SYSTEM.
