CAPPIN~ FIL~ SYSTEM CCNSTRUCTION DETAIL September 29, 1993 APPLICANT: BOB HOLT SITE NUMBER: 93-3172 Your site has been found suitable for a SAND FILTER PLUS FULL CAPPING FILL ALTERNATIVE SEWAGE DISPOSAL SYSTEM. The following construction specifica- tions shall apply to the installation of your septic system. 1. The septic tank shall have a minimum liquid capacity of 100~0 gallons. The projected daily sewage flow for this project is calculated at 450 qallons per day. Rased on soil conditions observed on this sitev the disposal field will be sized at 50 lineal feet per 150 qallons of projected daily sewage flow. A minimum of 150 lineal fee~ of disposal field will be required for your proposed develop- ment. The disposal trenches are constructed two (2) feet wide and on minimum ten (10) foot centers and with no line exceeding 125 feet in length. The trenches and perforated pipe are installed level (il") and contoured to follow the natural ground surface. Th~ disposal field shall be constructed with equal distribution with a minimum trench depth of 12 inches and a maximum trench depth of 12 incDe~. The capping fill material must be inspected and approved prior to placement. The fall shall be of the same textural class, or one class finer, than the native topsoil. The disposal field area must be scarified to destroy any vegetative mat on the surface. Fill material shall be evenly graded to a final depth of sixteen (16) inches over the gravel. ~pinq .Fill systems ..shall be..construeted between June 1 and October I or durinq ~uch times when our staff finds soil moisture conditions The site must be protected from traffic, livestock, farming or other damaging activities. An effluent lift pump may be necessary to construct the disposal field in the approved area asd at the correct depth. This approval is site specific to the a~ea tested and the s~ptic system must be located in the immediate area of the test pits unless otherwise autho- rized by this office. A new site evaluation may be required if the system is proposed for a different area on the property. SPECIAL CONDITIONS: Plans for the sand filter/capping fill repair should be submitted for plan review as soon as possible as the permit cannot be issued until the plans are approved. The existing septic tank must be pumped and properly abandoned. Observe all normal setback/separation distances. Refer to the enclosed setback list. THIS IS NOT A PEF~MIT ~ INST~L THE SEPTIC SYSTEM.
